The following are a list of frequently asking questions regarding the Intrda Guard Portable Alarm. If your questions aren't answered here, don't hesitate to contact us and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Q. What happens if an incorrect access code is used?
A. The alarm will trigger if the user enters an incorrect code three times.
Q. How long will the screamer sound for?
A. Screamer will sound for 2 minutes and then for 5 seconds every 30 seconds until attended to.
Q. How is the alarm reset after activation?
A. The master user can reset the alarm via the keypad or a phone – mobile or touch phone.
Q. How many telephone numbers will the system call to advise alarm has
has been activated?
A. The system will ring up to 3 numbers as specified in the system.
Q. What if there is no answer to the first telephone number?
A. The system will call each of the three numbers until one answers. Upon answering, the user must enter their access code before hearing the warning message.
Q. Can the Master user add/delete other users?
A. Yes. The Master user can add/delete other users, which allows full control of the site.
Q. What information can be retrieved from the system?
A. The system records time of arming/disarming and user codes used. It records the time of any warning telephone calls, the type of warning and the user code of the person who received the call.
